Ecological Land Management
for South East Queensland
Invasive weed control, bush regeneration, acreage property care and native revegetation across SEQ. One contractor with the ecological training and equipment to manage every part of your property properly.
Built around a genuine understanding of how land works
Cambium Land Management was founded by Mitchell McLeod in Rocklea, Brisbane. What started as a land management and property maintenance operation has grown into one of SEQ's few contractors genuinely capable of working across both worlds: the precision of acreage and garden maintenance, and the ecological depth of invasive weed control, bush regeneration and native revegetation.
Most contractors do one or the other. Maintenance contractors know how to mow and edge. Ecological contractors know about species and ecosystems. The gap between those two is where most SEQ properties fall through. Cambium was built to close it.
Mitchell holds qualifications in conservation and ecosystem management, WHS risk management, and holds all relevant chemical operator licences for herbicide application across a range of environments including riparian zones and sensitive ecological areas. He operates Cambium's purpose-built commercial equipment fleet across properties ranging from small residential acreage to multi-hectare conservation sites and development projects.

The principles behind every job
We identify what's growing before we cut, treat or plant. Understanding the ecology of your site produces better outcomes than applying standard treatments generically.
We don't just show up and do work. We assess, plan and communicate. Every weed management program starts with a written plan. Every treatment visit is documented with records and photos.
Lantana treated once returns. Cat's claw tubers regenerate for years. Sustainable outcomes require scheduled follow-up visits, and we design every program with that reality in mind.
The most common complaint in this industry is contractors who don't turn up. We show up on the agreed schedule, communicate proactively and hold ourselves to the standards we set.
Built for SEQ's terrain and conditions
We run a commercial equipment fleet specifically configured for the range of terrain and conditions across SEQ properties, from flat paddocks to steep gullies, creek lines to formal gardens. Having the right equipment for each zone is the difference between a job done properly and one done approximately.
With 1500mm flail mower and brush grapple. Handles steep slopes, dense vegetation and uneven terrain that standard equipment can't manage safely.
For precision finishing on formal lawns, estate surrounds and large turf sections requiring a consistent, clean presentation.
High-capacity paddock slashing for larger open areas, pastures and rural holdings requiring efficient coverage.
Licensed operators using registered products. Full application records maintained including product, rate, method, operator and weather conditions.
On-site chipping for green waste management on larger clearing and vegetation management projects.
For larger clearing, stump removal and earthworks associated with significant vegetation management projects.
