Cambium Land Management provides qualified on-ground ecological restoration and vegetation management for development projects, rehabilitation programs and environmental compliance work across South East Queensland.
We work directly with environmental consultants, project managers, civil contractors and developers to implement vegetation management outcomes that meet Queensland regulatory requirements. Our team brings licensed chemical application, commercial-grade machinery and documented site management across projects of all scales.

Systematic weed management for development sites, pre-construction programs and ongoing compliance maintenance. Declared and environmental weed treatment under Queensland Biosecurity Act 2014. Full application records for regulatory reporting.
Native planting programs using locally-provenant tubestock appropriate to regional ecosystem targets. Site preparation, installation, tree guards, establishment maintenance and survival monitoring. Single-contractor delivery from species sourcing to performance criteria sign-off.

Three types of commercial clients
Environmental Consultants
When you specify Cambium as your on-ground contractor, your professional reputation is attached to our delivery. We make that straightforward. All restoration work references SEQ Ecological Restoration Framework principles. We flag unexpected site conditions and species detections promptly. Documentation is formatted for inclusion in your reports. We don't deviate from agreed scope without consultant sign-off, and we don't second-guess your ecological prescriptions.
- Framework-aligned delivery referencing SEQ Ecological Restoration Handbook
- Photo-point records, species lists, treatment logs and progress notes at every visit
- All chemical application by licensed operators with full APVMA-compliant records
- Prompt communication on unexpected site conditions, species detections or program deviations
- Comfortable operating under the direction of a supervising ecologist
Developers and Project Managers
Vegetation compliance is a risk management issue. Delays, non-compliance notices and inadequate documentation create program risk and cost. We understand approval conditions and work to satisfy them, schedule around construction programs, and keep documentation in order from day one.
- Compliance-focused delivery against approval conditions
- Flexible scheduling around construction programs with rapid mobilisation
- Single contractor for weed control, revegetation, slashing and ongoing maintenance
- Reporting formatted for council and state agency submission
- Public liability insurance, WorkCover, licensed operators and site safety documentation available on request
Civil Contractors
When your contract includes revegetation, weed management or RMP obligations, subcontracting that work to a specialist makes commercial sense. You stay focused on civil works, your program stays on schedule, and the vegetation component is handled by us from species sourcing through to performance sign-off.
- Subcontract pricing from your contract documents or project RMP
- Species sourcing, planting programs, establishment maintenance and treatment records
- Multi-year establishment after your crews have moved on
- Progress reports for consultant or approval authority submission
- Familiar with construction site environments, SWMS requirements and active program constraints

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you work under the direction of an appointed environmental consultant?
Yes. We regularly work as the on-ground contractor under the direction of a supervising ecologist or environmental consultant. We implement prescribed programs, report back on progress and site conditions, and flag unexpected findings promptly. Our role is on-ground delivery, not interpreting or overriding your consultant's ecological advice.
Can you provide documentation for council and state agency reporting?
Yes. We provide photo-point monitoring records, treatment logs, species lists and progress notes at every site visit. We can format these for your reporting requirements, consultant templates or direct submission to approval authorities.
Are your herbicide operators licensed?
Yes. All chemical application is conducted by licensed operators under current Queensland requirements and APVMA-registered uses. We maintain full application records including product, rate, method, operator and site conditions at the time of application.
Can you provide a SWMS for construction site access?
Yes. We can provide Safe Work Method Statements and other site safety documentation for construction site access. We are familiar with construction environments and won't create problems for your site supervisor.
Do you have experience with specific SEQ regional ecosystems?
Yes. We work across a range of SEQ regional ecosystems including brigalow, dry sclerophyll woodland, riparian communities and subtropical rainforest and vine thicket. Our restoration work references appropriate regional ecosystem targets for species selection and structural outcomes.
How quickly can you mobilise?
For scheduled programs we work to agreed timelines. For urgent requirements such as pre-survey clearing or compliance deadlines, call Mitchell directly on 0409 865 182 to discuss availability. We respond to commercial enquiries within one business day.
